Space Gambler Knock-off Pinball | |
This handsome devil is Joseph Yglesias showing off one of his latest additions to his already amazing collection of unlicensed Star Wars memorabilia. This was a previously unknown piece to most Star Wars collectors but quite known, from infomation the previous owner supplied, in pinball collecting circles. Here are a few shots of the game.
As you can see most of the game has a generic sci-fi look to it. The top part is, however, quite another story. Take note of the TIE Fighters prominently shown here. Though, I must admit they look more like flying rotary dial phones. In this shot you can see the R2-D2 styled robot. An interesting note is that this R2 has arms, a feature seen on other R2 knock-offs. The final shot shows the manual included with the game. Click here to see an advertising flyer. Previously unknown pieces like this are so much fun to share and I'm thankful that Joe has allowed us to share this with our readers.
