Description: Admiral Ackbar was Kenner's transitional figure--coming at the end of the ESB line and just prior to the debut of Return of the Jedi, the figure functioned as a sort of sneak preview of the upcoming action figure line. Of course, at the time the figure was first advertised, the third installment of the Star Wars trilogy was still entitled "Revenge of the Jedi," and the advertisements that appeared on cardbacks reflect this.
