| There's something fun about typing or saying "R2-D2 Switcheroo"! This ingeniously named toy
is referred to as a Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC)
sample. A toy of this nature is utilized for approval to determine if the final
product meets specific criteria in terms of packaging quality, etc. The card front contains
a signature of the appropriate Kenner quality control engineer who signed off on this piece.
QA/QC labels are sometimes affixed to the front or rear of the card. Signatures and/or other information may be written on items ranging from specifically formatted labels, formatted index cards, simple nondescript labels like this one, or directly on the card. |
