| Several large department stores offered figures in multipacks through their catalog or as part of cardboard playsets. This particular set, with Darth Vader and two Stormtroopers, is marked with a Sears Surplus Store price tag showing "was: $4.88" and the new price of $2.39. It was originally advertised in the 1978 Sears Wishbook, along with other three packs:
