This is an early prototype of the C-3P0 Talking Electronic Storage
Case that Kenner will issue in 1996. By pushing the button on top of
C-3PO, his eyes light up and C-3PO says different expressions:
The case was constructed by taking a C-3PO case from 1983 and spray-painting it a deeper gold color. A speaker, battery pack, and speech circuits were added to the insider and wired to C-3PO's face. |
