| Princess Leia 4-up Hardcopy Paint Master (517-018) | |
| Showcased here is an hand-painted Princess Leia 4-up.
Leia is designated by the number 517-018. This prototype may also be referred to as a
paintmaster.
The first three digits represent the
Death Star Compactor playset,
while the last three indicate the particular character/pose. When one considers only two poses
of Princess Leia in her A New Hope attire and one pose in Hoth attire were available in the Micro Collection,
it becomes easy to understand what a difficult character she is to find in 4-up form.
Above we see a a photo showing the 4-up and 1:1 bottoms. Notice the production code is hand written on the 4-up's base. As for the 1:1's from left to right we have a painted resing squeezing, unpainted micro, and a painted production micro. Thanks to Adam for sharing this fine prototype from his collection! |
