| Hoth Rebel Soldier 1:1 Hand Cast Squeezing Prototype | |
| As all Micro collection figures were sculpted as "4-ups", at four times their production size, and 1:1 scale figures were created solely by outside vendors in forms identical to those that were eventually sold at retail, 1:1 scale prototypes of production figures are few and far between. There simply was no developmental need for them. The above Hoth rebel trooper, however, was cast in an almost plaster-like material, in a size identical to its metal production counterpart. Though I'm not really sure what the purpose of such figures would have been, I have seen a number of them, some of which were cast in a urethane material and/or fully painted. |
