| This is a rare version of the ESB Style B poster that has a purple background instead of the usual light blue. Fellow collector Michael Pomeroy discovered that the star field patterns are different which means this isn't a printing mistake and that completely separate printing plates had to have been used. The purple version is most often found folded from Australia and New Zealand and rolled from 20th Century or Lucasfilm "executive copies". |
