| This is a Queen Amidala wax sculpt for an unproduced "Life Day" holiday action figure. Hasbro had released similar holiday action figures for R2-D2 & C-3PO, Yoda, and Jawas for the holidays that were all based on vintage holiday cards from the Lucas companies (e.g. Lucasfilm, Ltd.). Well, it turns out this one was also based on a Lucas company holiday card, the 2000 Lucas Learning card pictured here. As a collector of cast, crew, and company related Star Wars items, this was a fun piece to pick up. |
