Ron,
 I'm assuming you know who I am. In case you don't I'm Lou's partner/friend.
Lou is on vacation and won't be back for a while. Lou said to answer your
e-mail if I wanted to. So here goes, I'll give it a try. By the way my name
is Tim. My knowledge of the micro collection series isn't as much as Lou's,
but I can tell you this much, there are no unproduced micro figures in metal
form just as Lou told you. All the packaging and all kinds of mock-ups
happened but the figures themselves did not make it to first shot or metal
stage. The order was never sent to Kenner's vendor to do first shots for the
unproduced figures. I see the Raul Partha theory is starting to be accepted.
Well, for what ever it's worth, it is true. They were never contracted to do
anything for Kenner. Also they were ordered by a Kenner Attorney to halt
their illegal production immediately or else. This occured in 1983 I think.
Lou would know the exact date, not me. So moving on to the referred to
figures that The Earth has listed for sale, they also are not legal Kenner
micro figures. Although they look a lot better than Parthas they still aren't
from Kenner. Where did they come from? Go back to a private collection of a
guy named Tom Neiheisel. To a photograph that shows the Micro Collection
Bespin Torture Chamber, those figures standing in front of that box were not
in the picture or any photo from Kenner. We believe Tom added these figures
some time later when they became available to him. They wern't there in 1982.
Kenner certainly was not the source for those figures. Looking at the Earth's
figures on the micro collection, they lack the clear , well defined detail
that Kenner's micro figures have. This probably occured when a mould was
made and the metal figure was poured. Kenner's vendor had a process that shot
their figures under pressure which gave the extreme detail that only Kenner
figures have. Lou knows all the information on that process. Any person who
has knowledge of various company procedures can very quickly tell the Earth's
figures are not Kenner figures and they can also detect which process was
used to complete the figure. I'd guess for you to talk to Tom Neiheisel and
find out from him where he got those figures from because the records do
support and document they can't be metal and come from Kenner. That's the
best example that I can give as to a place to start. Somebody has to have
sculpted the figures showing on the moc-up boxes and made moulds, otherwise
they couldn't be here. If they really were done by Kenner, you would be
looking at a very crisp finely detailed figure just like all the produced
figures were. Look at the bases on the Earth's micro figures, any trained
person call tell they were poured and not shot as Kenner's were. As far as
who really cares; try
1. Lucasfilm
2. Kenner
3. Every sucker who bought these bogus figures.

The Partha's do not have dates or copyrights as far as I know, but it plainly
states that the figures from the Earth does. The transulent pink Ben Kenobi
(Raul Partha Figure) is also a trick being played on the collector world.
This particular figure also had no connection to the Kenner process. One
more thing, in 1982 Kenner's sculpting process was done with clay not wax.
Not long after, wax was introduced but not for the micro collection. So one
has to really question where all these waxes are coming from all of a sudden.
Dig deeper, the answers you need are really there.

Hope this information helps,
Tim
