I may as well e-mail you too. Either you guys have been severly
mis-informed or you just haven't done proper research on the origin of most
of the collectibles you are featuring. Number 1, there is no such thing as a
2 up. The 4 ups in green are real and are Kenner property. Any 4 up done in
blue on Star Wars before 1989 is fake. Number 2, there was no wax sculptings
on the micro collection. They were all done in clay. There most definitely
are no unproduced micro collection figures from Kenner in metal form that
are legitimate. Some of the ones showing on Gus Lopez's web page are Raul
Partha unauthorized figures. Raul Partha recieved a letter from Kenner's
attorney in 1983 demanding immediate halt of production of these figures or
face severe consequences. By the way , Kenner's attorney's name is Kipling
and he still works there. Number 3, all of the 4 ups, 2 ups, prototypes,
first shots, preproduction, conceptual figures and custom figures listed on
that web site are questionable, to say the least. If you think you're right,
then just ignore this transmission, but just to be sure, why don't you
properly research all of this? Kenner employees and design artists have some
knowledge, but they do not have the authority to release this information
should it ever be called into question. Their knowledge is limited. All of
this information on the web site should have been researched all the way back
to the original engineers of each project. It very obviously has not been.
