Interestingly, many windows only sported ribbing around two or three sides. It was apparent to us that the film makers had only decorated parts of the set that would be visible from selected camera angles.

This doorway ribbing is very similar to that we saw later at Hotel Sidi Driss, the set that was used for interiors of the Lars family homestead, over 20 years ago. It is amazin, with such a long gap between the films, that such attention has been paid to the consistency of Tatooine's "look."
