Here's the one and only slab of carbonite produced for all the Star Wars movies. This piece is always a favorite among fans and was positioned front and center so it wouldn't be missed.
It's apparent from the closeup that Han's face on the prop is a perfect likeness of Harrison Ford. Although they weren't activated at the time of the exhibit, the lights on the sides of the carbonite could turn on as they did in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi to simulate Han's life support readings.
Here's a shot you seldom see...the bottom of the carbonite slab.
On the way into the next major room of the exhibit, the walls were covered in original storyboards for The Star Wars. These storyboards different substantially from the events which occurred on screen or even in the novel as quite a lot was changed in the editing process. The visuals also differ from many of the elements in the Star Wars universe.
