Micro Squeezing
A "squeezing" is the industry term for the earliest 1:1, three-dimensional figure made from the production tooling for the Micro Collection line.  The name derives from the process of making them--a liquid resin is poured into the mold cavities and the two halves are squeezed together to form the figure. Squeezings were used to test the molds and also to make early samples that were often painted by hand.  Some squeezings have different color layouts than the final production figures. Although it's possible this process may have been used to test tooling for lines other than the Micro Collection, the only Star Wars prototypes that have surfaced in this form so far are from the Micro Collection.
