Kenner Merchandising Aids Display Boards from Toy Fair 1979
These handmade display boards were used at Toy Fair 1979 to demonstrate to wholesale buyers the range of point-of-purchase displays Kenner had developed to support that year's line of Star Wars toys. They appear to have been constructed by pasting glossy photographic stills onto illustration board that had been gussied up with meticulously placed graphics and text. We know they were used at Toy Fair 1979 due to photographs of Kenner's show room of that year. See the last of the above images for an example.

Evidence suggests that this is the area of the Kenner show room in which Boba Fett (actually an actor dressed like Boba Fett) made appearances to greet guests and promote the Kenner line. See here for more information.

It's always great to discover that stuff like this survived!
