| This Rebel pilot helmet was used in filming the Original Trilogy films of Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi. As some fans are aware, the Rebel X-Wing and Y-Wing pilot helmets used in the first film were retrofitting with interior padding and new goggles for use in The Empire Strikes Back as snowspeeder pilot helmets. This particular helmet is matched to a snowspeeder pilot in the film who is boarding the vehicle as he heads to battle. It is also matched to a behind-the-scenes photo of a Rebel pilot in Return of the Jedi. |
