This header, among the most visually striking of Kenner's vintage Star Wars store displays, was officially available in both 1978 and 1979. According to Kenner documentation, approximately 2,000 were produced over those two years. Not many survived. To my way of thinking, none of Kenner's marketing materials is more redolent of the serialized space adventures on which Star Wars was based. |
