Trilogo FX-7 (french release)
The TRILOGO line, recognizable from the three main logos (English, Spanish and French) cascading down the packaging, was introduced with the first two waves of 'Return of the Jedi' action figures, together with an additional selection from the previous movies.

Trilogo action figures were produced and packaged by Palitoy for distribution in UK and most European countries, but Meccano (France) and PBP/GMJ (Spain) also had their own production. Trilogo blister cards manufactured for the French market are rarer and more aesthetically pleasing than their Palitoy counterparts thanks to the use of blisters that better accommodated the size of the figures [refer to 'Meccano Trilogo Cosmic Figures' book (2023) for an in-depth understanding of the French Meccano and Trilogo series].

Palitoy Trilogos are widely available to collectors, although finding pristine specimens with mint blisters can be very challenging. Meccano Trilogos are much more difficult to find and sought after. In addition, they feature some specific figure variants, such as Nikto on 70C cardback as well as the elusive 'General Madine', only marketed in France with that packaging.

FX7 on French Trilogo packaging is among the rarest of the French Trilogo releases, quite in line with Meccano ESB and ROTJ series. This is in overall, representative of the ESB releases in France as they are rarer on any packaging.

Also featured here is a group picture of all FX7 on French packaging: ESB 18-back, ROTJ 45-back, and French Trilogo. See individual entries for more details on each variant.

The Archive also features another Trilogo entry for FX7 on Palitoy releases 70B and 70C type cards
