| First Order Stormtrooper Helmet | |
| I did not expect to win this when it was put up for auction by Lucasfilm on IfOnly, but I took a chance that bidding was going to be low on this First Order Stormtrooper helmet used in The Force Awakens. Disney/Lucasfilm had previously auctioned off another Force Awakens Stormtrooper helmet for charity two years ago via a different charity auction site that went for a lot more. My max bid was 1/3 of that closing price in the hopes that this could potentially go for a lot less.
The same IfOnly auction also sold a similar Stormtrooper helmet used in The Last Jedi. Both helmets were signed by the director (either JJ Abrams or Rian Johnson) and producer (Kathleen Kennedy) of the respective films. Of course, I normally prefer props that are not signed, but it's cool to be able to get a stormtrooper helmet offered directly by Lucasfilm with documentation. They also sold a porg maquette from The Last Jedi in the same auction that actually closed for more than either Stormtrooper helmet! |
