| A wrap party is an event held for the cast and crew of a movie following the completion of filming. For the Star Wars movies, principal photography was completed years before the release, such that the imagery and logos and sometimes even the title of the film were not even finalized at the time of completion. Wrap parties are of course very exclusive events, so it's difficult to find these invitations and few are saved. Here's a wrap party invitation for the northern California shoot for Return of the Jedi. Note that even the wrap party invite uses the Blue Harvest name to disguise the film |
