Imperial Shuttle with Meccano sticker
The Imperial Shuttle, better known as 'Shuttle Tydirium' was the last vehicle released in the 'Return of the Jedi' product range late 1984.

By that time, vehicles were already retailed in bilogo and Trilogo packaging and Meccano (the French licensee for toys, recently rebranded as General Mills Jeux & Jouets) had ceased distributing imported boxes with french notification stickers.

The Imperial Shuttle was the most expensive toy of the line with the B-Wing Fighter as seen in Meccano paperworks. The box was massive too, and to avoid having to produce domestic packaging, it already came with printed notifications for the various European licensees.

However, in France, a banner-shaped sticker was added, detailing play features of the toy. This sticker featured the new General Mills Tour Essor branding, which had by then permanently replaced the Miro-Meccano brand.

Finding an European box for the Imperial Shuttle is quite an achievement, but finding that particular box with the Meccano sticker is even more amazing.
