Lamp Parts Kit No. 503 for No. 26 Robot (R2-D2 ceramic lamp)
The ceramic figural lamps for which this light kit was designed are fairly common, but this is the only example I have soon of a packaged lighting kit. Not having seen any packaging for the ceramic lights themselves, this also establishes an official name and model number for the lamp itself. The generic use of "Robot" clearly shows an effort to sidestep trademarks on names. I am not sure if there were earlier efforts that attempted to call this by the Star Wars name or not.

The contents themselves are rather bland, but it was nice to find something that showed a bit of how these were actually marketed. And based on variations of the ceramics themselves, I suspect Modern Lightcraft was not the only company that made them, although who came first would be interesting to know.
