| Featured here is a Kenner Star Wars 1978 12-back A Princess Leia with 'white footer'. A quick glance on this card is enough to see that the cardboard footer inside the bubble is white, instead of matching the color area behing the action figure. It is believed that the white footer 12BK A carded figures are the earliest version of packaging variations and was short lived as Kenner switched over to color footers almost immediately after the production began. These white footer variants have only surfaced in very small numbers, and not for all 12-back characters. Only 2 or 3 Leias are known to exist. Jean has been collecting since two decades, although he's got a pretty large collection, he has some kind of crush for the Princess Leia character and he was particularly proud to add this card to his outstanding collection. |
