| Tin toys were popular in the 60’s / 70 ‘s particulary in Japan where a huge profusion of robots has always been observed. In connection with the success of the movie, Amico released this fantastic 11" tall robot toy which has obviously its head derived from the familiar imperial soldier helmet. It combines the popular helmet with the typical 60s-70s robots shapes, hook-shaped hands, red shoes, and playing features such as stop'n go, opening chest with blinking lights and shooting noise, and rotating body. It came into a nicely illustrated blue box. |
