| Unlicensed Ceramic Vader and Ben Kenobi Lamp | |
| This lamp is one of the nicer unlicensed ceramic items I've documented. It depicts Darth Vader and Ben Kenobi dueling with their lightsabers in front of some sort of futuristic computer-type thing. The artist has given the piece a nice sense of movement, especially in the capes. As to why they're standing on cobblestones I'm not sure. Maybe this particular duel took place in some back corridor of the Death Star designed to resemble Greenwich Village?
Sometimes this piece is found sans lightsabers, making Vader and Ben look as though they're giving each other a fist bump. Check out our special feature on unlicensed ceramics here. |
