| This is the 45-backs version of the Darth Vader figure release in France in 1983 from the French licensee MECCANO. Note that is features the same bubble has used on the earlier Star Wars 20-back and EMPIRE square blister cards. Meccano ROTJ cards are extremely difficult to find, for most ROTJ wave figures, even more for SW and ESB re-issues, and even even more for the first wave on 45-backs cards ; some previously released figures were only re-issued on 45-backs cards making them nearly impossible to find. In addition to the bubble, the 45-back card distinguishing feature is the catalog reference number on the upper left corner. This particular card is a killer piece for collectors since it's DARK VADOR. |
