Han Bespin 41-Back (Survival Kit Offer) Carded QC Sample
Former Kenner sculptors, designers, and model makers are often revered by today's collectors and receive much of the glory, but what about the folks that made sure your toys met strict standards and arrived from the factories as Kenner intended? QC engineers made it happen! Let's not forget them! With action figures being manufactured simultaneously in multiple factories, it was important that Kenner ensure specific criteria like packaging quality and other criteria were met.

Carded QC samples, like this Han Bespin, were pulled from production runs and inspected by, yep you guessed it, a QC engineer. Some samples feature labels (either simple of more complex) containing sign-off information, while others, like the example in this entry, feature writing directly on the packaging. In this case, Kader refers to the name of the actual vendor located in the Orient. The "P.P" likely stands for "Production Pilot"
