| The pressbook pictured is from the SW re-release in 1982. It's a 20 sheet booklet. It features lists of movie crew, actors, technical and SPFX crews, a George Lucas interview featuring THX 1138 and Star Wars, synopsys, production notes, George Lucas biography and filmography, as well as filmographies for Gary Kurtz, John Williams, Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher.
The first 1978 release of this pressbook (not pictured) is made of 32 sheet and typewritter formatted (raw text without alignement). It features a foreword, more crew members including Marcia Lucas as assistant, and detailed filmography of Peter Cushing and Alec Guiness. |
