| The Z6PO (C3PO) figure as released in France in 1978 by french licensee MECCANO.
The rectangular format used for the first batch of 12 figures was changed starting in 1979 to a square card format, as seen here and so the Z6PO was reissued on a square card as well. The front of this 12-back card features a proof of purchase coupon to be cut; sending back 4 coupons to Meccano before the end of year 1978 would allow to receive the infamous Meccano diorama, which was the French equivalent of the Kenner early bird kit diorama; |
