| CLIPPER was the licensee for retailing Star Wars toys in Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg during the vintage era.
Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back action figure were packaged on Clipper printed cards, but an intensive usage of imported toys from Palitoy and Kenner with special offers stickers was started with ESB and became the standard with ROTJ. This General Madine card comes from a ROTJ Kenner, and features the most common black&white Clipper 'Premies' offer; a large sticker on the back of the card, ending with a small tab on the front; notice that all the special offer text are in French and Dutch as well. |
