| This small poster was aimed at movie industry professionals (mostly theater owners and press) to introduce the upcoming sequel to ESB: Return of the Jedi;
It is printed on glossy paper and measures roughly 24x31.5cm which is a pretty odd format for France where standards are multiple of A4-size (21x29.7 cm); The front side shows the official ROTJ French poster but the back is also interesting; it gives a quick analysis of the Star Wars movies success with the end of the first Trilogy, "located between 2 other trilogies which will be completed around year 2000"; the text in the middle gives a quick insight of the plot; In the bottom, a list details promotional material available: theatrical posters 400x300cm, 200x150cm, 120x160cm; small posters 40x60cm; lobby cards photos sets 11A & 11B; press stills 100,200,300,400,600mm |
