Logray Coin Original Plaster Sculpting
The POTF Logray coin photo shown on the right represents the original plaster sculpting. The sculpt exhibits positive relief, meaning the image is raised, and is sculpted at a 6:1 ration. It is flanked to the left by the companion Stage 2 hardcopy, also referred to as a tooling master .

The second photo shows a close-up view of the positive relief detailing. The Earth turned up a significant batch of coin prototypes, including this Logray sculpting, in 2008. The 2008 Earth find consisted of two coin sculptings, Logray and Han Carbonite, and six coin softcopies (Han Carbonite, R2-D2, Gammorean Guard, Romba, Obi Wan Kenobi, and Leia Poncho).

Coin prototypes present extremely well on display and even more impressively when grouped as a pre-production series illustrating the various stages of development. Jeff is well on his way to an oustanding coin run.
