| Celebration Japan Associate Gold Medallion Set | |
| This is the rare gold medallion set given to volunteers and presenters participating in the Celebration Japan collecting track in 2008. There are only 40 of these gold associate sets in existence. Each medallion is gold plated and made using the same molds as the regular Celebration Japan pewter medallion set. Note that the text is slightly altered from header of the pewter frame.
These medallions were designed by Mattias Rendahl and Jeff Correll specially for Celebration Japan based on the unique (mostly vintage) collectibles that were exclusive to Japan. Philip Wise topped it off with his medallion frame design with a new logo for Japan. |
