Ewok Rock | |
I always thought that Stormtroopers proved once and for all that they were total losers for being beaten by the Ewoks, but it turns out the Ewoks' weapon of choice was the foam rock! There's nothing like watching the 6-film/12-hour Star Wars saga to its ultimate climax where we see the defeat of the highly trained army of Jango Fett's clones by styrofoam-wielding teddy bears. This prop was used in the Endor scenes shot near Crescent City, California. Several uniquely-shaped prop rocks were made for the film, and one still actually sits in a convenient store near the filming location, on display by the proud owner who was given the piece by the crew during the filming. This rock pictured here originated from one of the drivers tasked with taking the stars to and from the remote filming location. |
