| Shawn Byrne has been fortunate to own not one, but two carded examples of this figure variant throughout his collecting career.
This particular Luke Jedi figure, commonly referred to as the "moulded face variant", lacks flesh colored paint applied to the face. Instead, the flesh face coloration is provided by the actual plastic itself...no potential nose rub problems here, folks!
The cape is neatly folded and bagged behind the figure inside the bubble; a characteristic common to both carded examples Shawn has owned. Additionally, the cape is of the "snap clasp" variety as opposed to the "sewn" version.
Shawn also astutely realized that both of the examples he has owned were packaged with green sabers. |
