| Return of the Jedi Death Star Brass Etching Construction Panels | |
| These are two different brass plates that were used in the under construction sections of the three dimensional Death Star model in Return of the Jedi. Each one is etched with a different pattern for different sectors of the hollowed out Death Star. Hundreds if not thousands of these plates were used in the large scale Death Star model. The actual model itself is still in the Lucasfilm Archives but last seen, the weight of these plates was taking it's toll on the model with the unconstructed portion of the Death Star sagging. The ROTJ Death Star has not been in public display since 1994. |
