| Gentle Giant produced an edition of 2500 Yoda & R2-D2 maquettes for sale during it's whirlwind "2007 World Tour". The "World Tour" was comprised of the variouos conventions, like Celebration IV and Baltimore Comic Con, where Gentle Giant exhibited a presence. Unlike the specific convention exclusives (Clone Commanders), this maquette was offered for sale at each of the major events Gentle Giant attended. It's still an exclusive piece in a sense, just not quite as exclusive as most Gentle Giant collectors are used to.
The sculpted detail on this maquette is striking. I particularly like the curious personality of Yoda' snake.

The box bottom, as is typically the case with Gentle Giant products, features the matching number to the maquette, in this case #20. |
