| Quality Control (QC) Samples are typically seen in carded or bagged figure format. This particular piece, the mail-away offer Survival Kit, represents a departure from the more commonly seen QC items, thus lending to its appeal. As evidenced by the photos, it bears the name of a former Kenner employee who signed off on it after checking it. Ironically, two extra copies of the instruction sheet are present, but stuck together.
I can't think of a more appropriate collection for this piece given Broc's determined quest to acquire items pertaining to the "Survival Kit Offer". |
