| The Star Destroyer Commander packaging shown above is referred to as a proof card. Take notice of the two square bottom corners and offset punch area; both discernible characteristics of a proof card visible from the front. The card is printed on a much thinner cardstock compared to production blister cards, however this difference is not easily detectable from a photograph.
The acquisition of this proof card by Broc was quite significant given that all previous "Survival Kit Offer" proof cards he owned or knew about were more productionlike compared to this example. |
