This is arguably the best Star Wars costume piece to ever surface in a private collection—Han Solo's jacket from The Empire Strikes Back. Like many other movie prop and costume pieces from the original Star Wars films, it was found in a pile of items that were planned for disposal, however this was one item spared that fate. This jacket was custom made for the Star Wars films, and unlike some of the other early wardrobe pieces, was not an altered off-the-shelf item. It has been matched detail for detail to the one worn by Harrison Ford in The Empire Strikes Back. This piece was unearthed by Stephen Lane who runs Prop Store of London, the leading seller of movie props and costumes.
