X-Wing Fighter (ESB Box, Dagobah Photo)
In the early 80s Spanish licensee Poch released four boxed ships with the EL IMPERIO CONTRAATACA and POCH logos. They all brought the in-pack ESB catalog.

The box slides open in a similar fashion to a model kit box, with a bottom box side in plain white cardboard, and a top box cover with photos on all five sides. This is the same kind of box that was used in brazilian Glasslite ships, but Spanish boxes were produced in much thicker sturdier cardboard than their brazilian counterparts.

The X-Wing was released with the same photos and texts of the Kenner second-issue ESB box, depicting Luke X-Wing Pilot and Yoda. However, unlike the Kenner version, it brought no electronics, neither sound nor light, with only a black and white sticker replacing the batteries area, and lacking the red nose light found on the American version. Another major difference with other international versions is that the R2-D2 button was chromed, and never painted in blue, although every once in a while some Palitoy loose X-Wing are erroneously sold as being Spanish.
