| This is the original printing plate to Marvel Star Wars #59 cover. The original Marvel comic series was one of the very first Star Wars publications, and the monthly comic ran uninterrupted for 107 comics before ceasing publication in the mid 1980's. This cover is from a relatively early comic prior to release of Return of the Jedi. Few printing plates from the Marvel series, particularly cover plates, have surfaced. |
