Star Wars L'Expo Yoda Coin, 2005
In october 2005 opened the famous Star Wars exhibition in Paris, France. For nearly a year, the exhibition was set in the "Cite des sciences" a major cultural & scientific place of Paris. For this occasion, exclusive and officially licensed medallions were produced by "Monnaie de Paris" (The French Mint) a state owned company which holds the monopoly of manufacturing circulating coins for the French Republic, showcase the history of French coins, produces limited editions etc... These medallions from Yoda and Darth Vader were available at the opening until the end of the event; probably due to the huge success of the event itself, a second batch was produced with a slight change on the back.

The first batch of medallions had "National Collection - Limited Edition - Official Medallion - 2005" on the back.

Later medallion produced in 2006 have a more basic back with only the year "2006" left.
