| Outdated Kenner Canada ESB packaging was ingeniously updated to the then current ROTJ packaging through the use of adhesive stickers placed on the packaging front and back. A ROTJ logo sticker was placed overtop of the old printed ESB logo, while smaller (card front) and larger (card back) offer update stickers masked outdated mail-away announcements in favor of current mail-away promotions. The R2-D2 Sensorscope carded figure shown above exhibits these characteristics making it a transition style carded Kenner Canada figure. |
