| Featured here is a cromalin for the
CAP-2 mini rig (Rebate Offer) packaging. Cromalins play an extremely important part in the creation of toy packaging.
Notes are often found on cromalins to indicate changes that need to be made before the final version
is approved. Suggested changes vary from piece to piece, but range from text absence,
necessary color changes, etc. Once changes are made, a final cromalin is produced and approved by the
appropriate individual. This explains why multiple cromalins of the same item sometimes still exist ranging from heavily notated to notation free.
The final image highlights a few of the most impressive pieces from Billy's CAP-2 series. In addition to the "Rebate Offer" Cromalin, we also see an offerless ESB first issue cromalin, and a Revenge of the Jedi black dylux. |
