Han Solo 4-up Hardcopy Paintmaster (460-009) | |
This hand painted Micro Collection Han Solo prototype from the
Bespin Freeze Chamber
is referred to as
a hardcopy. All Micro Collection
figures were sculpted at a 4:1 ratio, meaning the hardcopies are four times larger than their
production counterparts, thus the reason collectors refer to them simply
as 4-up's.
Stylistic changes sometimes took place throughout the developmental process of the Micro figures. Examples of an earlier sculpt for this rendition of Han Solo are also featured on the Star Wars Collectors Archive in both painted and unpainted forms. |
