Wax Sculpts and Hardcopies for Unproduced Talking Yoda Doll | |
This entry shows various prototypes used to create the Talking Yoda Doll, one of the most sought-after unproduced toys from the vintage Kenner Star Wars line. The tan pieces in the photo are carbalon hardcopy pieces for the hands, some with and without canes. There were numerous attempts at sculpting the cane as exhibited here by the wax sculpts for these pieces (center of the photo). Also, a foot and hand were sculpted out of wax (to the right of the cane sculpts). Next to the hand sculpt is a hardcopy and first shot of that hand that was used for the prototypes of the doll. There are two different first shot heads, one in bright green and the other in a human flesh tone. The one with hair and markings is a rooting master for the Yoda doll to specify where the different elements of synthetic hair would appear on the toy. |
