Interestly, Sparky was designed by Ralph McQuarrie just for this campaign. Part of a very large and interesting promotion using George Lucas and his creations for National/Panasonic in Japan. This all took place for several years in the late 1980's to early 1990's when there was very little Star Wars related going on in the USA. |
