This packaging was used in France on the same card format from 1979 to 1982, unlike some other countries, Meccano kept releasing Star Wars characters on Star Wars (GDE) square cards even during the Empire line. The item shown is even more remarkable thanks to its nearly pristine condition - since Meccano 20-back cards are challenging to find mint. |
