| Pictured here is the Greedo figure packed onto a French 'La guerre des étoiles' 20-back square card.
This packaging was used in France on the same card format from 1979 to 1982, unlike some other countries, Meccano kept releasing Star Wars characters on Star Wars (GDE) square cards even during the Empire line. Greedo is part of the few figures among the 2nd SW wave which were issued by French Meccano licensee only on 20-back cards, they were not reissued on later ESB or ROTJ cards. Also note that this particular example feature an ESB back, Meccano 2nd wave GDE (Starwars) square cards sometimes feature a SW 20-back or an ESB back depending on the year they were produced. |
